Getting back into the SemWeb Universe
Beeing three weeks off and offline means: lots to read and crosscheck. The first thing that came to my attention is captsolo’s advice on how to do the right thing: Generate SIOC! done! B:\datenbrei now provides SIOC info via a WordPress plugin.
captsolos second thing to do is: Use PiggyBank! But I’m a MacOSX and Safari user?! What now?
Next thing on my list is to read the link list of John Breslin regarding ISWC 2005.
What SIOC is?
SIOC (Semantically Interlinked Online Communities) is an ontology for describing discussion forums and posts on topic threads in online community sites. This includes but is not limited to: blogs, bulletin boards, mailing lists, newsgroups, etc.
What Piggy Bank is?
Piggy Bank is an extension to the Firefox Web browser that turns it into a “Semantic Web browserâ€, letting you make use of existing information on the Web in more useful and flexible ways.
