a Category for reminders
Reading Dave Backett’s RSS to iCalendar article I wonder what it is good for having a ICS file that is generated out of a RSS feed…
Loading the PlanetRDF ICS file into Apple’s iCal gives me a neat amount of new calendar entries, all in the past: iCal as RSS aggregator!
So, what is it good for? Maybe for easy reminders: using a category “reminders” (or whatever it’s name may be) and posting to that with post dates in the future, picking up that category’s RSS feed (post wouldn’t show up there by default) and convert it to an ICS file which is read in by a calendaring application. This is a way to have something like “group reminders”
Any other ideas?
