Nach Berichten unserer Korespondenten vor Ort ist der Innenraum des Babels stark geschwärzt durch den Rauch, Schäden durch Wasser oder grössere Feuerschäden sind nicht zu erkennen.

The decission made (by Captsolo and DanBri) consists of a few points:

• there will be no foaf:accountOf as a owl:inverseOf a foaf:holdsAccount
• generators of data are responsible to make it easy for consumers to process data
• a rdf:property should be the inverse of a rdf:label

UPDATE: More information on RDF Design Pattern: Inverse Property Labels and initial communication that raised the issue.

The construct used looks like:

The owl:inverseOf of "holdsAccount" is rdfs:label’ed “account of”. Easy aint?

Planet RDF provides a foafroll, a RDF/XML representation of the feeds which get aggregated and their authors. This is a good starting point and actually a pretty complete description of the RDF community (at least of the blogging RDF community).

Taking a look at foafroll we find foaf:Agents and there blogs. This provided data will be convertet into SIOC Users in the first step.

Note: Maybe it would make some sense to rename sioc:Site to sioc:Community? See also a SIOC-dev posting (or was it a chat with CaptSolo??).

I have not done some Jena-based code up until now. Before releasing it I would like to have some comments on the idea, maybe some improvements need to be incorporated…

Loading the PlanetRDF ICS file into Apple’s iCal gives me a neat amount of new calendar entries, all in the past: iCal as RSS aggregator!

So, what is it good for? Maybe for easy reminders: using a category “reminders” (or whatever it’s name may be) and posting to that with post dates in the future, picking up that category’s RSS feed (post wouldn’t show up there by default) and convert it to an ICS file which is read in by a calendaring application. This is a way to have something like “group reminders”

Any other ideas?
