After I gave sudo port install gtk-sharp a try I finally found a python2.4 installed on /opt/local/ Benefits of zoloft, ... so I started playing arround with it a little.

First of all, the motivation to think about a new way the desktop should work is clearly the shortcomings of current desktop systems: they are nothing more that a bunch of applications which may communicate a little via drag and drop, but which don't know what they are doing and don't know what they can do with data available in some others applications space. The basic idea behind the new Me is that most (or even all) applications will be understood as "services", Zoloft alcohol, that means that the application:

emits messages if data is processed/received/...

and that the information provided by services are consumed and visualized by "clients", which:

pick up messages emitted by the applications/services
know how to visualize the messages

To archive this pluggability both (service and client) need to describe their interfaces, data structures and operations they provide, hence a central registry or method to negotiate between services and clients is needed.

The essence is: this idea gives back power to the user by enabling him to do with the data held by some application what the user wants to do, zoloft for high blood pressure. Is zoloft really legal cocaine, Ok, first try to get a Jabber PubSub thingy together using python/twisted; first try to get a MacOSX application done using PyObjC/Growl; did I say that this is my first shot at parsing MeNow/RDF with python.

And here is the status:

I have some Python code communication with the pubsub component at pubsub.ik.nu, it creates new nodes, damage side effects zoloft, subscribes to existing nodes...
the desktop application subscribes to generic/B4mad/mood/goern to listen for MeNow updates published there
the desktop application pops up new notifications as soon as it receives updates
and I have a some test program to send updates

This is another idea seeking for some implementation - Having the idea of the desktop daemon Zoloft side effect, in mind... why not enable the clients to update the presence information of a jabber user by themselve. I will work like this:

there is some kind of presence/location sensing network, this will determin where in my home/office/campus/.., zoloft reactions. I am
my presence/location information is published at some local pubsub service
my client (gabber, Adium, Zoloft for pe, gossip, ...) has a plugin which is subscribed to that node, heance receiving my presence/location update
the client's plugin determines rule-based if it should set my JID's presence according to the update it just received

The "location sensing network" could be a Sensor Network like bluetooth enabled campuswide kind of thing or some cameras and a good piece of software doing image recognition, or some other thing which automagically detects where I am, zoloft and nausea.
